Cathy Coopman est productrice de films de fiction et de documentaires pour le cinéma et la télévision depuis plus de vingt-cinq ans. Elle accompagne et conseille scénaristes et producteurs, débutants ou confirmés, dans toutes les étapes de leurs créations, veillant à concilier avec finesse contraintes économiques, juridiques et artistiques afin de servir au mieux chaque projet. ✨️✨️

Au fil de sa carrière, elle a su développer un regard aiguisé sur la narration et la construction des œuvres, s’attachant à soutenir des projets audacieux et singuliers. Parallèlement à son activité de production, elle forme des élèves en BTS audiovisuel, transmettant son expérience et sa passion pour le métier aux nouvelles générations de créateurs. 🏫

Également passionnée par l’écriture, Cathy explore les univers de la science-fiction et du fantastique à travers des romans et des nouvelles, enrichissant ainsi sa sensibilité artistique et sa vision du récit. Son approche se situe à la croisée de l’expérience professionnelle et de la création littéraire, affirmant un engagement constant pour la qualité et l’originalité des histoires qu’elle accompagne.📖

Cathy Coopman has been producing fiction and documentary films for cinema and television for over twenty-five years. She supports and advises screenwriters and producers—both emerging and established—at every stage of their creative work, skillfully balancing economic, legal, and artistic constraints in order to best serve each project.

Throughout her career, she has developed a sharp eye for storytelling and narrative construction, consistently championing bold and singular projects. Alongside her production work, she teaches students in audiovisual BTS programs, passing on her experience and passion for the profession to the next generation of creators.

Also passionate about writing, Cathy explores the realms of science fiction and fantasy through novels and short stories, enriching her artistic sensibility and narrative vision. Her approach lies at the crossroads of professional expertise and literary creation, reflecting a steadfast commitment to the quality and originality of the stories she helps bring to life.
